GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MALAYSIAN GEOSPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURE (MyGDI)
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this circular is to inform the Secretaries-General of the ministries, heads of federal departments, as well as state and local authorities about the development and implementation of the Malaysian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MyGDI), formerly known as the National Infrastructure for Land Information System (NaLIS).
BACKGROUND
At present, federal and state government agencies, as well as the local authorities (LAs) have developed systems related to geospatial data information according to their own specifications, standards as well as planning and developmental objectives.
